Wedging through-tenons

To clarify, I'm building a shaving horse. The legs are turned and will fit into holes or round mortises if you prefer and I wanted to wedge them, same as you would with legs on a Windsor chair. Try...

Looks like you have it all done and the beavers are hung-over. But for reference, I know Brian Boggs has a shaving horse design. He talks about it in a Lie-Nielsen video plus there's an online-only article about it in FWW. I did a quick google of ...

Ahhh, now I think I got you. You are talking about, do you wedge across/with the grain of the mortised board not the direction of the tenon grain. Trying to remember all the Norm/St. Roy shows I have seen on chair building.... I think you want ...

For cutting plywood the good face goes up on the table saw, down with a hand held circular saw. The surface wood fibers get support from the wood underneath when the blade teeth are entering the wood which is on top for the table saw. As for we...

What's the discount like? My wife has actually considered getting a p/t job at our local store. She figures the discount on my toys might make the retail job pay and hours worth it.

Very cool Allen. I noticed you had not posted for a while and was wondering what happened to you. My wife used to work at Bath and Body Works during the holidays - I think she spent more than she made.
